Local Amenities

Allemans (about 5 minutes drive) only has a café/bar at the time of writing (Jan.2018). St Séverin (about 15 minutes drive) has a butcher, a grocer, bars and cafés, large supermarché and a fabulous baker, there is a very small market on Thursdays, and a fisherman comes to the village to sell a small amount of fresh fish.

Ribérac, famous for its Friday market, is also the closest main town. It has a very large supermarket (Leclerc) outside the town as well as restaurants, cafés, bars and shops. Staff at the Tourist Office are very helpful and speak English.

Between Allemans and Riberac there is another supermarket, Aldi,  on the roundabout, with a large carpark, making it an easy pop in and pop out shopping experience.
